The Aphelion Graduate Foundation aims to celebrate exceptional students who have overcome significant personal challenges to meet high school graduation requirements. Challenges may include an intellectual or developmental disability, a physical disability, a mental health condition, behavioral challenges, financial hardship, inconsistent homelife or homelessness, or loss of a primary caregiver. Our mission is to provide functional, individualized awards to immediately benefit selected honorees in acknowledgement and celebration of their resilience, persistence, and triumph. High school graduation is an important milestone—one that is anticipated but not guaranteed. The Aphelion Graduate Foundation recognizes students who have prevailed to achieve their goal of completing high school against all odds.
